2025 Project Period (2025-1-TR01-KA131-HED-000315357) 1st Call of Applications for Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIPs) titled “Teacher Education in an International Perspective”
Within the framework IUE Erasmus+ 2025 Project Period, project number (2025-1-TR01-KA131-HED-000315357), Blended Intensive Program (BIP) application call for “English Language Teaching Master Program” will be open during December 31, 2025 – January 15, 2026.
What are Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programs (BIPs)?
Blended intensive programs are short, intensive programs that use innovative ways of learning and teaching, including the use of online cooperation. Groups of higher education institutions will have the opportunity to organise short blended intensive programs of learning, teaching and training for students and staff.
During these blended intensive programs, groups of students and/or staff as learners will undertake a short-term physical mobility abroad combined with a compulsory virtual component facilitating collaborative online learning exchange and teamwork.
Blended intensive programs build capacity for developing and implementing innovative teaching and learning practices in the participating institutions. For BIPs, physical mobility must last between 5 days and 30 days and be combined with a compulsory virtual component.
What is BIP titled “Teacher Education in an International Perspective”?
This program is coordinated by Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven).
The program will focus primarily on “Teacher Education in an International Perspective” and subtopics including social justice, multilingualism in education, financial literacy and digitalisation that will be taught by international academicsunder social and cultural activities.
What are the details of BIP program?
Topic: Under the main title “Teacher Education in an International Perspective” and sub topics include social justice, multilingualism in education, financial literacy and digitalisation.
Venue: Physical mobility will take place at University of Cologne in Germany.
Dates: March 23-27, 2026
Who can apply for this BIP?
- Full-time students at Izmir University of Economics, Graduate School, English Language Teaching Master Program.
- Minimum GPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 (for the students whose GPA has not been formed yet due to studying at the first semester of the program, the GPA obtained in the previous level of higher education will be taken into account)
- Students who have English language proficiency (the IUE Proficiency in English score result or results from other English language exams recognized as equivalent by YÖK will be accepted)
- Students who have graduated from Bachelor’s in 2022 or later

The students who would like to participate the program will complete their applications via this link on TURNAPortal system using their Identity Nr. and E-State password.
What are the financial support opportunities?
The students who will participate in this BIP will receive a daily grant of 79 € and a travel grant of 395 €, resulting 790 € in total for the 5 days of mobility.
