Student Mobility for Traineeships
A traineeship (work placement, internship) abroad in an enterprise, a research institute, a laboratory, an organization or any other relevant workplace. Izmir University of Economics (IUE) hosts trainees under the framework of Erasmus+ program.
There are no specific application deadlines for traineeship mobilities. Applicant student can directly contact Office of International Affairs via oia@ieu.edu.tr about his/her request. The office will forward the request to the relevant academic or administrative unit according to the student’s department.
After the evaluation, applicant student is informed via e-mail about the response of relevant academic/administrative unit.
Acceptance/invitation letter is prepared for the trainee upon request.
The students who are accepted for Erasmus+ traineeship must submit the following documents before the mobility:
- Signed Learning Agreement for Traineeships
- Passport copy
- Internationally valid health insurance (which must include Accident and Liability Insurance)
Trainees will not be paid any salaries or Erasmus+ grant, if possible they can fund themselves by their own means or use Erasmus+ grant of their home institution, if they are selected.
Office of International Affairs can prepare a Certificate of Attendance after the mobility ends upon the trainee’s request.
