Izmir’s agenda is ‘artificial intelligence’

In his opening speech at the panel, which addressed Izmir’s potential and needs from various perspectives, including universities, the private sector, the public sector, and the legal field, Prof. Dr. Eren said, “Artificial intelligence is transforming not only business models but also education. As a University, we are undergoing a transformation with personalized learning experiences, AI-supported assessment systems, and intelligent virtual assistants. Every student has a different learning pace and areas of interest. Thanks to AI, we can produce personalized content and make education more effective with real-time feedback. Rather than limiting artificial intelligence, we are now integrating it into our courses within an ethical framework. We are also establishing an artificial intelligence research center with participation from faculty members across various disciplines.”
