2026-2027  ACADEMIC YEAR FALL SEMESTER ERASMUS+ STUDENT  MOBILITY FOR STUDIES RESULTS

1. The results of the applications for Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Studies to be carried out in the Fall semester of the 2026-2027 academic year have been announced on TurnaPortal.
2. The results reflect the applications evaluated according to the available quotas as of the date of this announcement.
3. “Substitute” status: The students who are listed as “Substitute” could not be placed due to the lack of quotas for partner universities. If the students selected as main students waive their rights, students with substitute status will be placed in these quotas.
4. Mobility with Erasmus grant: These students are awarded with an Erasmus grant for their mobility activity, according to the grant quotas for faculties.
5. Mobility without Erasmus grant: These students are not awarded with an Erasmus grant for their mobility activity, because of the lack of grant quotas for faculties. Students who will benefit from the Erasmus+ Student Mobility program for studies with zero grant should fill out the form “Erasmus Student Mobility For Studies Zero Grant Approval Form” which is published at https://www.ieu.edu.tr/international/en/formlar and send it by e-mail to oia@ieu.edu.tr until  March 9, 2026, at the latest.  Students who fail to submit their form by this date will have their mobility canceled.
6. The students who performed virtual mobility will not benefit from Erasmus grant.
7. “Not Placed” status: The quotas of all universities preferred by these students have been filled. These students will have the right to make new preferences between March 11-15, 2026 based on the “Remaining Quota List” to be announced by the Office of International Affairs. Students are required to follow the announcements made by our Office.
8. The names and contact information of students who are selected for 2026-2027 fall semester Erasmus student mobility for studies will be shared with their partner universities. Selected candidates must follow the application instructions sent by partner universities via e-mail. It is the responsibility of selected students to complete their applications to the partner universities. The candidates will also be informed regarding the processes of application by our office or the international office of the receiving institution.
9. The students who want to withdraw their application are required to submit a petition to the Office of International Affairs via oia@ieu.edu.tr explaining their reason for withdrawal until March 9, 2026,  at the latest. For the students who withdrew their Erasmus application without submitting a petition, there’s a penalty of 10 points deduction from their Erasmus score in their next application.
10. Applications with missing documents that do not meet the criteria in the application are not taken into consideration.
11. As announced in the application call, graduate students who wish to carry out mobility during their thesis period must obtain prior approval from an academic staff member of the partner university confirming that they will provide support for the thesis. This approval document must be submitted to both the Office of International Affairs and the Graduate School no later than March 15, 2026. In cases where the partner university does not approve thesis-period mobility, the mobility will be cancelled.
12. TOEFL iBT Score Conversion: In ÖSYM’s equivalency table dated 24.10.2023, there are certain TOEFL iBT score ranges without explicit corresponding values. For these scores, the method of linear interpolation has been applied. The “Equivalency of International Foreign Language Exams” document published by ÖSYM can be accessed as a reference.
