FAQ For Students
- Make sure you're using the correct credentials. Enter your student number as your username and the password you set for your Oasis account. Be sure to check the case and make sure you're not pressing the space bar while entering your password.
- Clear your browser's cache and cookies. Old data stored in your browser's cache and cookies can sometimes prevent you from logging in to Blackboard Learn. For instructions on how to clear your cache and cookies, see your browser's help documentation.
- Try a different browser. There could be a problem with the browser you're using. Try using a different browser and see if the problem persists.
- Restart your computer. Sometimes a simple restart can fix the problem.
- If you've tried the steps above and you're still unable to log in, send an email to tlc@ieu.edu.tr, including your student number. Describe the problem in detail in your email and specify the steps you have tried.
Oasis and Blackboard Learn use the same password. Therefore, you need to change your password through Oasis.
To change your password, follow these steps:
1. Log in to Oasis. (https://oasis.izmirekonomi.edu.tr/) 2. Click on the "User Information" tab on the Homepage. 3. Select the "Change Password" option. 4. Enter your current password and new password. 5. Click the "Change" button.If you have forgotten your password:
1. Click on the "Forgot Password" option on the Oasis login screen. 2. Enter your username (student number) and click the "Send" button. 3. A temporary password will be sent to your email address or mobile phone. 4. Log in to the system with your temporary password and set your new password. 5. You can log in to the Blackboard Learn system with your new password after 15 minutes.When setting your password, please follow these rules:
• It must be at least 12 characters long. • It must contain at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, 1 number, and 1 punctuation mark. • It must be different from your previously used passwords. • Your password should not contain Turkish characters or personal information.If you're unable to log in to Oasis, you can reset your password by following these steps:
• Go to the Oasis login screen: https://oasis.izmirekonomi.edu.tr/ • Click on the "Forgot Password" option on the Oasis login screen. • Enter your username (student number) and click the "Send" button. • A temporary password will be sent to your email address or mobile phone. • Log in to the system with your temporary password and set your new password. You can log in to the Blackboard Learn system with your new password after 15 minutesIf you can't find your course on Blackboard Learn:
- Make sure you are officially registered for the course you are trying to access. Check if you are enrolled in the course on your Oasis account.
- If you have thoroughly checked your course and still can't find it, please send an email to tlc@ieu.edu.tr with your student number and specify the course you are experiencing issues with.
Please send an email to tlc@ieu.edu.tr with your student ID, the course you're enrolled in, and details about the assignment you're having trouble with.
After uploading your assignment content to the system, click the Submit button. If your assignment still doesn't upload after clicking Submit, please send an email to tlc@ieu.edu.tr with your information, the name of your course, and the name of your assignment.
Click on Submision Receipts under the My Grades tab. You can check your assignment submission from the list. Secondly, you should receive an email to your university student email confirming that your assignment has been successfully uploaded to the system. You can double-check by reviewing this email.
You can contact the relevant instructor of your course. For technical support, you can send an e-mail to tlc@ieu.edu.tr or visit our center.
You can send an email to ybs@ieu.edu.tr describing the issue along with your student details.
The course contents will be accessible throughout the academic term of your relevant course. In case of urgent need, you can contact the instructor of your course.
To access Panopto videos on your tablet or phone, you need to download the Panopto application. After downloading the application, click on the three dots in the top right corner. Type panopto.ieu.edu.tr in the Site section. You can use the application once you log in with your Blackboard credentials.
You can try clearing your browser cookies or changing your browser. Google Chrome and Firefox are recommended browsers. If the issue persists, please send an email to tlc@ieu.edu.tr regarding the subject.
Panopto videos will be available to you throughout the academic semester of your relevant course.
Due to KVKK regulations, downloading is not allowed. You can only view your course recordings.
Click on the Online Sessions tab in your course menu. Join the created lesson session.
If you're joining the class through a browser, you can try updating your browser's history and cookies. If you're joining through the application, make sure your Zoom application is up to date. If the issue persists, you can email tlc@ieu.edu.tr or visit our center for further assistance.
Right-click on the Certificate menu located in the menu of the Occupational Health and Safety (ISG) course and open it in a new tab. From the opened page, you can save your certificate as a PDF.
