Embryonix became Turkey’s most successful entrepreneur
Embryonix Co., Ltd. established in 2004 in order to generate student bosses by the support of Izmir Chamber of Commerce, Aegean Association of Young Businessmen, Aegean Association of Industrialists and Businessmen, Aegean Region Chamber of Industry, achieves another success. Embryonix, made up of Trio Copy Center administered by the Izmir University of Economics students, C&O Market Research and European Union Project Consulting Company, Ağaçaltı Café, Potlach Production and Birebir Media Marketing came first in Europe’s most important entrepreneurship competition.
297 projects from 42 cities of Turkey took part in Eurowards Entrepreneurship Competition eventuated under the auspices of European Parliament. The projects are evaluated under four categories; encouragement, seed, start-up and expansion. Embryonix came first in the start-up category. In the ceremony organized in Istanbul, the Director of Embryonix Özgecan Özenç took the prize on behalf of Embryonix. Özenç said, “Embryonix provides initial resources in order to support small businesses that have the potential to grow and to implement innovative business ideas. This contains both the businesses that the students established at the campus of the Izmir University of Economics and the businesses established on the innovative ideas. We are so happy to have won Eurowards Prize. Henceforth, we aim to grow bigger with the newly established businesses and raise entrepreneur young people for the business life.”
The winners of Eurowards will take part in Europe’s biggest and the only competition supported by the European Union, Eurowards Europe.
