HEADS OF INTERIOR ARCHİTECTURE DEPARTMENTS CAME TOGETHER

Having been held in Istanbul Technical University, Izmir University of Economics Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department Head Asst. Prof. Dr. Deniz Hasırcı attended 3rd Interior Architecture Department Heads’ meeting.
The subjects such as basic fields, accreditation and occupational organization of students, have been argued at the meeting with the attendance of whole Interior Architecture Department Heads of Turkiye. Having mentioned about importance of student organizations, Deniz Hasırcı stated that, Students’ being organized, their having roles in different vocational activities and their creating a powerful identity can be provided by support of Chamber of Interior Architecture. There are subjects to be careful in accreditation processes. Turkiye has to be protected during standardization processes of some features related to the programme.
Also in exhibition of Interior Architecture Departments which will be opened parallel to the meeting and will be open for two months, there will be representations of all departments. International projects, student projects, yacht design projects, furniture designs, EKOTAM projects, new Faculty of Fine Arts building projects and Applied Atelier seminar posters of IUE Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department 4th year students’ Kerem Ozerler, Ceren Usta, Mert Can and Umit Caglar draw attention in the exhibition.
The exhibition which has been prepared under the coordinatorship of IUE Faculty of Fine Arts Vice-Dean Asst. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Ultav will be exhibited in Faculty of Fine Arts at the end of two months.
