95 pieces that take place in 20 collections are presented by the famous models. 3 ballerinas from İzmir State opera and Ballet made a great show in the fashion show.
Department of Fashion Design that prepared the concept of the fashion show tells both the look of the designer to East and birth, the miracle of the nature. 20 collections prepared under the supervision of Berrin Gönen, and that are presented in the fashion show are created by the designers that brought a new approach, hope and future. Some of the designers chose a specialty from Turkey and some turned their face to Fareast. Although their starting point is different, the common characteristic of the collection is to glorify authentic handcrafts that sunk into oblivion.

The students are evaluated not only by the academicians but also by the professionals during the fashion show. Among the jury members were famous designers Bora Aksu, Hatice Gökçe and Vogue magazine artistic director Andrew Foxall. İzmir University of Economics Board of Trustees President Ekrem Demirtaş and nearly a thousand spectators attended the fashion show. İzmir University of Economics Dean of Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Prof. Dr. Tevfik Balcıoğlu made the opening speech and stated that Faculty of Fine Arts and Design building which was under construction was going to be opened on 20.10.2010 at 20:10.

In the fashion show that is staged by Başak Gürsoy and took place on the football pitch at İzmir University of Economics, the most successful models in Turkey Ece Sükan, Özge Ulusoy, Merve Karan attracted attention with their successful presentations. In the fashion shoq, Pınar Çınar, Didem Soydan, , Begüm Yılmaz, Alona Kıral, Merve Sarı, Buse Işık, Mine Postacı, Duygu Akdeniz, Ezgi Tuyuran, Melis Emirsoy, Coşku Hatipoğlu, Bürde Aslan, Ergin Dolunay, Asuman Arifoğlu, Serkan Tan, Burak Gacemer, Öner Bölükbaşı, Ali Altan, Ediz Karınca, Serhat Altıkardeş also took place on the catwalk.
