Three Days of Spring Festivity at İzmir University of Economics
The three-day “Spring Festival” events at İzmir University of Economics (IUE) ended with a magnificent concert. Taking the stage at the amphitheater, Dolu Kadehi Ters Tut, one of the popular bands of Turkish rock music, gave the audience an unforgettable night with its energy, stage performance, and much-loved songs. During the concert, where the excitement never faded for a moment, students and alumni who filled the venue sang along in unison, celebrating the arrival of spring with great enthusiasm.
The Spring Festival events at İzmir University of Economics turned the entire campus into a festival venue. Dance shows, musical performances, sports tournaments, competitions, and various activities attracted great interest from students. As part of the festival, the Music Festival featured performances by Grup Turuncu, as well as the polyphonic pop choir “Popapella” from Boğaziçi University, the rock band “Perçin” from Fırat University, the “Rock Ensemble” from Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, and “Şebnem Ferah Tribute” from Yıldız Technical University, all of whom gave young people enjoyable moments.
At the Dance Festival, dance teams from many universities captivated the audience with breathtaking performances. The stands opened by student clubs drew great attention, while prize-winning competitions added to the excitement.

At the food and beverage areas set up in different parts of the campus, students had the opportunity to taste both traditional flavors and examples from world cuisine, while the rich menu options received full marks from young people. The highlight of the festival was the closing concert held at the amphitheater. Performing on the final night, Dolu Kadehi Ters Tut won great acclaim from the students with its outstanding performance. Thousands of students and alumni who filled the venue sang along to the band’s songs throughout the concert and enjoyed the entertainment to the fullest.
