AMERICAN LECTURERS GAVE COURSES AT IZMIR UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS
Visiting faculty members Prof. Ted Schwalbe and Assoc. Prof. Ann R. Carden stated that they liked İzmir University of Economics very much and said, "The success percentage of Suny Program that gives dual diploma chance to the students presents equivalence with the knowledge and experience of both universities. In this scope, the success percentage of the programs carried out with IUE is very high. We believe that the students being educated in America will have a big opportunity in their future career."
THEY ARE AUTHORITIES IN THEIR FIELDS
Prof. Ted Schwalbe who completed his undergraduate education in 1975 in Ohio University Department of Computer Sciences received master’s degree in 1978 in Southern California University Department of Public Administration and in Department of Communication in Annenberg School of Communication, and in 1980, he completed his doctoral education in Annenberg School of Communication Department of Public Administration. Prof. Ted Schwalbe gives International Publication, Telecommunication Law and Policy, Computer and Communication, Media Informatics, Journalism and Telecommunication Technology courses.
Assoc. Prof. Ann R. Carden graduated from West Virginia University Department of Journalism in 1980 and completed her master’s degree State University of New York in Interdisciplinary Studies field in 1997. Assoc. Prof. Ann R. Carden who has 20 years of experience in Public Relations, television and radio journalism gives Principles of Public Relations, Writing Techniques for Public Relations, Sample Event Analysis in Public Relations, Public Relations Management, Public Relations Senior Seminar, and Speaking in Public courses.
