The Chefs of the Future are in the Kitchen
The students practice in the Department of Culinary Arts and Management instructor Alexia Yenel's “Cuisine Cultures of Today" course and they prepare the menus ordered under the control of the chefs.
İzmir University of Economics School of Applied Management Sciences Director Prof. Dr. Tunçdan Baltacıoğlu stated that the students were very lucky to be able to make practice and said “The theoretical courses are given at our University and the applied courses are given in fully equipped İzmir Konağı. They have the chance to make observations in a professional environment. The students gain experience by making practice in applied courses in a professional environment. They will not suffer the difficulties of being a stranger when they graduate.”
