THE MODELS OF THE STUDENTS ATTRACTED ATTENTION IN THE FAIR
The students presented the wedding dresses they designed with execution of the Head of Department of Asst. Prof. Şölen Kipöz. The name of their project was “Cinematic Bride” in which they were inspired from the magical characters of the cinema, the stories of the movies and the red carpet styles of the celebrities.
“Natural Structures” project of the students that was executed by the instructor Angela Burns, the structural fabric designs inspired from the anatomy of the insects received the appreciation of the wedding dress and evening dress sector.
There was a great interest in the designs of İzmir University of Economics students during the fair. This was the proof of the importance given to design and creativity by the wedding dress and evening dress sector which is accepted to be the dynamo of İzmir and the Aegean Region.
