Prof. Dr. Atay stressed that the graduates of Department of Architecture easily found jobs right after they graduated. Prof. Dr. Atay stated that the department employed many national and international architects with a vast expertise as teaching staff, and they adopted a non-conventional architectural education. He said IUE was on the verge of becoming a leading institution on architectural education. He also mentioned that master architects were invited to the University to conduct workshops and share their expertise with students. “Stability and practicality are the most important elements in an architectural project. Raising architects that develop feasible projects would contribute a lot in terms of constructing the future buildings. Our main target is raise architects for business life who can integrate their creativity into reality. For this reason, we work with 3 dimensions. Students build 3 dimensional models. We have hands-on trainings. We also conduct field trips, and make on-sight assessments.”
