INDEPENDENT AUDITING TRAININGS AT IZMIR UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS
With reference to Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority (KGK), Independent Auditing Regulation, Izmir University of Economics became the first university in Izmir which was awarded the authorization and permission to conduct Independent Auditing Training.
Prof. Dr. Cemali Dinçer, Vice Rector of IUE, who stated that Izmir University of Economics always made a special point of being a pioneer, said that the training was mandatory for Sworn-in CPA’s and Independent Accountant CPA’s who wanted to get Independent Auditing authorization. Prof. Dr. Dinçer reminded that the training permits were not limited to Izmir but also covered 25 cities nationwide including Ankara, İstanbul, and other cities in Aegean Region.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Yiğit Kazançoğlu, Director of Continuous Education Centre, stated that the training included topics such as Auditing, Accounting Standards, Corporate Management Principles and Financial Management, Capital Market, Banking, and Private Retirement Legislation, and that interested parties could get more detailed info at http://ekosem.ieu.edu.tr address and register for it.
