Students in Tokyo joined the lesson via video conference
Vice Dean of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gonca Günay communicated to Japan online and lectured for two hours. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gonca Günay gave lecture to master students at Tsukuba University on techniques of negotiation via video conference system for two weeks. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gonca Günay having fullbright scholarship in 2010 and joined to Harvard Faculty of Law Negotiation program gave information about the psychological dimension of negatiation in particular.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gonca Günay declared that the courses which 12 students took were very successful in spite of thousands of kilometres. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gonca Günay said “Prof. Dr. Hirohisa Nagai who is an associate professor both at Tsukuba University and Izmir University of Economics helped much in the process of program’s execution. We covered cultural differences along with the psychological dimension of negotiation process and the students were very interested and participation to the classes was very high. Shibo Jinno leader of communication sector in Asia was one of the participants of the classes who declared his curiosity to the culture of Turkey, so we invited him to Turkey. It is very important to develop cultural cooperation along with education.”
