FULL MARK TO STUDENTS FROM NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANISATIONS
Izmir University of Economics Faculty of Communication Public Relations and Advertising Department last year students’ projects have been assessed by Non Governmental Platforms.
Students have gained real business experience before they graduate by presenting their projects which were designed for Aegean Forest Foundation, Turkey Visually Impaired People Library (TURGOK) and Equal Platform Club, which is in business at Izmir University of Economics.
Having started with the presentation of project for Equal Platform Club, spouse of TURGOK president Gültekin Yazgan and founding member of the foundation Tülay Yazgan, Assistant of Secretary General Burçay Erenay Güngüler and TURGOK member Didem Koçaş have shared their opinions about projects with the students. Having stated her positive opinions about all projects, Tülay Yazgan called attention to necessity of increasing cooperation between university and non-governmental organizations. After the presentation of project for Aegean Forest Foundation, student have gained business experience by getting advices from Aegean Forest Foundation General Manager Assistant Perihan Öztürk, Education and volunteer supervisor Yasemin Bilgili, Media and Public Relations Supervisor Sırma Buğdaycı, Project Coordinator Kadir Bilgili and Bakioğlu Holding Media and Public Relations Coordinator Nadide Şele.
Having called attention to the vital importance of environment, after the presentation Yasemin Bilgili stated that the projects that are handled with students would continue.
