ON THE STREET EXHIBITION IS DEDICATED TO AYŞE SELEN
In the photograph exhibition with the theme “On the Street”, Department of Architecture first grade student Ayşe Selen Ayla who was murdered on the street is commemorated.
In the exhibition that the students prepared throughout the year, photography club reflected the life on the street and the painting club presented the pencil drawings and dry paint works. İzmir University of Economics Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. Oğuz Esen made the opening of the exhibition and congratulated the student clubs for their studies. Painting Club President Burcu Çeliksap stated that they dedicated the exhibition to their friend Ayşe Selen Ayla and said, “This tragic event affected us deeply. We dedicate this exhibition composed of our studies throughout the year to our friend. The theme of our exhibition was “On the Street”. Our friend Selen is murdered on the street.”
The exhibition in İzmir University of Economics Foyer Area can be visited until May 08.
