INTERIOR ARCHITECT DÜNDAR KILIÇ SHARED HIS EXPERIENCES
Dündar Kılıç who has various awards in his field gave information about interior architecture which has a history of 40 years and which became a profession after 90s. Kılıç stated that 32 higher education institutions had department of interior architecture and each year nearly a thousand students graduated from this department and said “However the most important problem is the quality of the education. Because the academic staff, infrastructure are not the same in everywhere. It is hard to say that each student has the adequate academic education. İzmir University of Economics has a different place among these universities. The things made for you to integrate with the market are really important.”
Kılıç, who reminded that TMMOB Chamber of Interior Architects İzmir Branch had always supported the newly graduates and said “You are now thinking about the branch to concentrate on. As the chamber, we are making studies about this subject. We are trying to present, provide vocational demand and information.” In the rest of the seminar, Kılıç shared his experiences about interior architecture, the things done and should be done and working conditions.
