THE FUTURE ADVERTISERS CONQUERED ISTANBUL
The 6th “Istanbul Sector Trip”, which was organized by Izmir University
of Economics, Faculty of Communication, Department of Public Relations
and Advertising, took place with the participation of students.
27 students attended the trip which intended to introduce the Department of Public Relations and Advertising students to the representatives of the sector and inform them about how the theoric information is put into practice in real life. The visits to the establishments contributed a lot to the students in terms of preparing the students for the sector, letting them observe a professional environment, and enabling them to establish goals regarding their future. The students got information on-site by visiting the main establishments of the sector such as advertising agencies, public relations agencies, publishers, Association of Advertisers, and media agencies.
Students gained significant experience by visiting the leading representatives of the sector, especially Advertising Foundation and Bersay Communications Consultancy, Renault Mais Marketing Department, Grey Advertising Agency, Zarakol Communications Services, Carat Media Planning Agency, and Sesli Harfler Digital Advertising Agency.
