Healthy Campus

Mission
We support the health, well-being, and solidarity of our students, faculty, and staff at our University. We enhance the culture of health by organizing health services and offering a safe and healthy campus environment with healthy nutrition options, physical activity opportunities, mental health support, and sustainable living. We create an inclusive environment of empathy, respect, and mutual support for all living beings.
Vision
Our vision is to be a University that is free from addictions that impair health, supports mental and physical health, enables a shared life with animals on campus, and produces creative and transformative solutions for a sustainable healthy life.
About
We have taken an exemplary step in Turkey by creating the ‘Healthy Campus’ model to support the physical, social, and athletic development of our students and all our members. We have identified the 5 main components of this model as physical health, mental health, addiction, sustainability, and animals on campus.
We would like to share with you some of the activities we have carried out in line with our healthy campus goal. The cafes on our campus support healthy eating with their special menus. Our students and employees can use the fitness center on campus free of charge. Additionally, the purified water dispensers on campus are also free of charge.
The Psychology Research and Application Center (PUAM) provides low-cost counseling to employees and students, as well as to citizens. In addition to the social and cultural activities organized at our university, we also provide psychological support to our students. We have located the smoking areas on our campus away from the buildings. Furthermore, we continue to develop projects to combat all forms of addiction.
We have not forgotten our dear friends, the residents of our campus other than students and employees. We place great importance on them living in favorable conditions outside the buildings. Quality food is regularly supplied to the feeding points created in the right places by our Animal Lovers Club.
