HUMAN-ORIENTED DESIGNS
Noting that the time spent indoors has increased with the Covid-19 outbreak, Prof. Dr. Hasırcı said that the transformation in interior spaces and the physical, social, and cultural ties between user and space need new definitions. Stating that this situation will always keep interior architecture on the agenda, Prof. Dr. Hasırcı also gave information about the work they will do through ‘IFI Insite’. Prof. Dr. Hasırcı said, “Approaches such as human-oriented, natural, and sustainable design are issues that are common and on the agenda worldwide. Professional practices, recognition and boundaries are also among the common topics of interior designers. We will exchange information and have professional discussions with colleagues in different countries through ‘IFI Insite’. We aim to increase awareness on interior architecture. It has been an honor for me to take part in such an important development. I am happy to be able to convey my views and works we have done in the field of interior architecture in our country on the international platform.”
