Dobidob on the Road
The “Dobidob” mobile education bus, launched in collaboration with İzmir University of Economics, İzmir Chamber of Commerce, and İzmir Metropolitan Municipality to instill recycling awareness in children, continues to meet with young students.
Created by renovating a decommissioned ESHOT bus, Dobidob teaches students about the benefits of recycling and the importance of protecting natural resources. Through games and hands-on activities, the sessions emphasize the significance of reintegrating recyclable materials such as plastic, glass, metal, and paper into the economy. Thanks to Dobidob, children both have fun and learn ways to protect nature.
CHILDREN SHARE AN ENVIRONMENTAL MESSAGE
Students who received training on the Dobidob Education Bus also emphasized that they had learned the importance of recycling, stating that keeping the environment clean, sorting waste, and protecting nature are of great importance for future generations. Simirna Peri Başoğlu said she gained important information about recyclable waste, while Emine Çandır highlighted the importance of protecting nature and the environment. Ela Yıldız stated that she learned not to pollute the environment and said recycling waste is critically important for the world. Aden Yılmaz emphasized that she learned recycling is very beneficial, while Asya Kaya shared the message that they can contribute to protecting the world by reducing recyclable waste.
