Organized by the Izmir University of Economics Art Coordination Office, the “Threshold” Group Painting Exhibition meets art lovers as a special event dedicated to the university’s 25th anniversary. Approaching twenty-five years of experience as a creative passage from the past to the future, the exhibition brings together the concepts of memory, innovation, thought, and production through art.
Bringing together artists with different forms of expression under one roof, each artwork invites viewers to new beginnings and creative possibilities. The cultural memory of the university and the language of contemporary art come together powerfully in this exhibition.
Featuring works by Ahmet Yeşil, Alp Tamer Ulukılıç, Atilla Atar, Barış Sarıbaş, Cuma Ocaklı, Dilşad Atasoy, Fahri Sümer, Güven Zeyrek, Habip Aydoğdu, Mustafa Horasan, Reyhan Abacıoğlu, Selahattin Yıldırım, and Sibel Ünalan, the exhibition opening will be held with a cocktail reception on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 14:30.
