IUE Painting Analysis Series
We are continuing our Izmir University of Economics Painting Analysis series with Lecturer Nejat Kutup, featuring two significant artists and their works:
- Osman Hamdi Bey – The Tortoise Trainer
- Aliye Berger – Sunrise
Through these remarkable works, we’ll explore how to truly look at a painting: what we see but don’t notice, and what we notice but cannot interpret. We will enjoy an engaging conversation about the artists, their period, and their techniques.
