The Department of Mathematics at İzmir University of Economics will celebrate World Statistics Day with an event to be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 13:00 in the Multi-Purpose Hall, Block D.
The invited speaker of the event will be Prof. Dr. Serkan ERYILMAZ, Rector of Atılım University, who will deliver a talk titled “Statistics in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Requirements and Trends in the Context of Education and Research.”
In addition, Prof. Dr. İsmihan BAYRAMOĞLU, faculty member of the Department of Mathematics, will take part in the event as the host speaker.
