In collaboration with the Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, and the Vocational School of Health Services Physiotherapy Program, İzmir University of Economics will host an event titled “The Effects of Occlusion on the Human Body.”
The event will take place on Monday, October 6, 2025, between 12:00 and 13:00, and will be presented by Prof. Dr. Burcu Koçoğlu Altan. Prof. Dr. Burcu Koçoğlu Altan graduated from Ege University Faculty of Dentistry, specialized in Orthodontics, and throughout her academic career has particularly focused on temporomandibular joint disorders. She currently continues her clinical and educational activities at Lotus Dental Academy.
During the event, participants will have the opportunity to gain insights into the scientific foundations of occlusion’s effects on the human body and to learn about current approaches in the field. This event is organized to support the academic development of undergraduate and associate degree students, while also enhancing scientific interaction among our faculty members.
