THE PHOTOGRAPHS OF HOPE AT IUE
The last stop of AKUT Photographs Exhibition that continues traveling Turkey was İzmir University of Economics. The dramatic photographs that we are used to see through media are being displayed at IUE. 75 photographs that sometimes reflect grief, sometimes hope and happiness attracted great attention.
IUE AKUT Student Association President Derya Bakçek stated their happiness about the attention and said, “The photographs that came from AKUT Center displays the devotion in the operations of AKUT. There is a big responsibility and effort in these operations. We wanted to share the hope in civil society initiatives with our friends.” Bakçek reminded that the exhibition would continue throughout the week.
