NEW GRADUATE PROGRAMS FROM IUE
IUE Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Director Prof. Dr. Serkan Eryılmaz said, “With the rapidly changing technology, the importance of engineering education and discipline in the world and in our country increases day by day and in this information era, computer technologies penetrate into every aspect of our lives personally, socially and artistically. In this scope, in the world and in our country, the lack of personnel specialized in particular subjects in informatics sector increases. The Computer Games and Technology master’s program that will be implemented aims to raise individuals that are specialized in computer games sector in Turkey.”
Prof. Eryılmaz also stated that in the framework of the cooperation between İzmir University of Economics and Abertay Dundee (Scotland), Computer Games and Technology dual diploma graduate program would be implemented. The other program that will be implemented in 2009-2010 academic year is Management Science and Engineering. Prof. Dr. Serkan Eryılmaz stated that with the Management Science and Engineering non-thesis master’s program they aimed to provide students that completed their engineering education to synthesize technical information with management information and to combine theory and practice. He also stated that Financial Mathematics and Applied Statistics courses could be given to the students who want to take these courses. Applications can be made to IUE Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences graduate programs until September 04, 2009.
