PREFERENCE CONSULTANCY SERVICE FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENT CANDIDATES FROM IUE
10 guidance counselors will give education consultancy service at Balçova Campus from July 13 to August 03. The consultants that will inform the students about choosing the right department, preferences and job opportunities will speak to the parents too and will give detailed information to them.
Izmir University of Economics Rector Prof. Dr. Attila Sezgin stated that they formed preference desks for the students to make right choices, and said, “The information in the catalogues is not enough for the students. They must visit the university they will choose and have detailed information. I recommend them to consult to teachers, meet the academicians, and get to know the department they will choose. We are waiting for the candidates to the Izmir University of Economics.”
Students will also make presentations to the candidates
Besides the guidance counselors, students will also present Izmir University of Economics during 2009 Preference Period. Students from different departments of IUE will help their friends that are about to step into university life and present the departments they want to be educated in. Candidates can also call 4889852 and receive information from the guidance counselors.
