IUE is accepted to European University Association Evaluation Program
EUA is the result of a merger between the Association of European Universities (CRE) and the Confederation of European Union Rectors' Conferences, which took place in Salamanca, Spain on 31 March 2001. The European University Association which has more than 800 members in 46 countries plays an essential role in shaping tomorrow’s European higher education and research landscape thanks to its unique knowledge of the sector and the diversity of its members.
In the scope of EUA evaluation process an institutional evaluation committee has been formed within the body of the University. The duty of this committee is to prepare a self-evaluation report by benefiting from a widespread accession period throughout the university. The first visit of the EUA evaluation committee to our university in May 2009 will form the second phase of the evaluation process. During this visit EUA evaluation committee will make comprehensive interviews with university senior management, academic/administrative personnel and students.
In the third phase of the evaluation IUE institutional evaluation committee will review the self-evaluation in accordance with the outcomes gathered in this visit. At the end of the self-evaluation revision EUA evaluation committee will make the second visit to the university. The last phase of the evaluation will include the preparation of a conclusion report in accordance with the determinations made in the second visit.
While preparing the self-evaluation report, the student groups, academic, administrative personnel will be informed by the IUE institutional evaluation committee and this process will be open to the participation of the university personnel. Your participation is essential for the efficient presentation of the university’s aims and position.
