FEMALE VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS ARE CHAMPIONS AGAIN
Izmir University of Economics, Female Volleyball Team won the Championship Cup by defeating four University teams at University Sports Federation 1st League Volleyball competition which was held at Akdeniz University.
IUE Female Volleyball Team defeated Çukurova University, Mersin University, Süleyman Demirel University, and Ege University 3-0 without allowing any set shots. The team earned the right to enter the Super League competition which will be held at Çorum.
Izmir University of Economics proved its success at volleyball with favourable results by defeating all the BESYO (Physical Training and Sports Academy) origin teams
The team captain Özge Üçtop stated that, “These achievements along with our successful education always motivate us. We will continue to excel in both areas with the support of our University.”
