ONLY IUE STUDENTS REPRESENTED TURKEY
Izmir University of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of International Relations and EU students have represented Turkey at Odessa National University Model United Nations (ONUMUN) Conference held in Ukraine.
Students of IUE, the only university invited to the conference from Turkey, made a strong impression with their presentations at the conference which lasted for three days. Ecem Sekizkardeş, Sıla Boz, Şeyma Güngör, Kamer Aydın, Tolga Yelmen, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Balkan Devlen of Department of International Relations and EU have attended the conference which took place on October 28-30, at the city of Odessa.
The students have successfully represented Turkey by discussing global problems and offering possible solutions in four different commissions. The conference organization committee has stated that they were very pleased with the presentations and they would be inviting Izmir University of Economics to next year’s conference.
