IZMIR UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS IS THE FAVORITE OF THE CAMPAIGN

İzmir University of Economics graduates were the youngest of the guests of the campaign in which the collections of the professional designers met with the public.
For four days long, fashion lovers will be able to find design products with affordable costs in Çeşme Marina, in the design festival, which is a part of the mission of EGSD to turn İzmir into a fashion center. İzmir University of Economics graduates Cana Üstün, Seyhan Deniz Reis, Merve Eron-Gizem Alanköy, Büşra Edebali opened a stand and sold the clothes and accessories they produced under their own brand. Famous designers like Simay Bülbül, Özgür Mansur, Cem Lokmanhekim, Özlem Kaya, Deniz Kaprol and Özlem Azak Erkan took place in the event where young designers proved their success. The graduates of İzmir University of Economics, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design exhibited their graduation collection.
The graduates of the department sell their clothes, which they produced, in their professional life in Megalov boutique opened by Doruk Yorgancıoğlu in Marina. Head of Department, Asst. Prof. Şölen Kipöz visited the stands of the graduates and said, "We handle collection-concept-salability trio as the most important principle in education and we aim to produce wearable designs. In this setting which is a perfect laboratory for the young designers to observe consumer behaviors, the designs of our graduates showed us that we are on the right road.”
