UNIVERSITY CANDIDATES MET AT IEU
Students receive information from the teachers and current students in 9 different guidance points and learn the departments that they can be enrolled to. University candidates who are indecisive about the departments they will choose benefit from experience of not only the teachers but also the current students. 40 students at İzmir University of Economics give information to the university candidates voluntarily and experience guidance counselors make professional explanations to the students about their preferences. On July 31, 2010, the successful educationist Sadık Gültekin will give 2 different seminars and later he will give preference consultancy.
İzmir University of Economics Promotion and Public Relations Director Özge Can Özenç stated that the students and their families had to benefit from the preference service offered by the university and said, "Both the students and their families are very exciting in these times. We will give service to the students and their families until the end of preference period on Saturdays and even Sundays. Experienced teachers and students share their experiences with the students and families. We also help the students who cannot come to our university online via our website.”
