TEAM SPIRIT IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS
Murat Palalı, IUE Sports Coordinator, said that they are proud to represent both Izmir and their university properly. Pointing out that it was a great achievement to reach the cup with the football team restructured after the pandemic, Palalı said, “As Izmir University of Economics, we are present and assertive in every branch of sports. We have successive first places and medals in different branches such as water sports, basketball, volleyball and chess. We also took action a year ago to add soccer to these successful fields. We formed a team where friendship, unity and solidarity are at their peak. We worked hard and prepared our team with a regular training tempo. The way to success in sports is through discipline and team spirit. We achieved this at our University and reached the trophy we aimed for.”
WE WILL WORK IN UNITY
Palalı stated the following: “We never stop aiming for goals at our University and motivate our students. I hope that we will achieve new successes with IUE football team in a short time. Starting next week, the basketball and volleyball teams will also start their tournaments. We strongly believe that the success in football will reach other branches. We will continue on our way by making success sustainable. There is a 'Sports Coordinatorship' unit at our University. As coaches and the coordinatorship team, we are working in unity to ensure that all IUE teams reach the best level. We are very lucky to have such a talented, disciplined and hardworking student community at our University. We congratulate all students who represented our University and our city in the best way and wish them continued success.”
