Children’s festival on campus

Izmir University of Economics (IUE) brought kindergarten and primary school children together at the ‘Children's Festival’ full of excitement and fun. The festival was attended by children studying at different schools in Izmir, in addition to the students of Beyaz Köşk Kindergarten, affiliated to IUE. Children, who spent time in the concert, playgrounds, art and environment-themed workshops, experienced the enthusiasm of 23 April National Sovereignty and Children's Day.
The festival held at Izmir University of Economics Ceremony Field vas co-organized by IUE Children’s University Research and Application Center, IUE Vocational of Health Services Development Program and the Health, Culture and Sports Directorate. The festival started with the songs of Beyaz Köşk Kindergarten students and continued with the Group Turuncu concert. The children danced together to their favorite songs. Children, who had fun on the playgrounds after the concert; also learned new information by participating in art, environment, science, fairy tale and improvisation workshops. The event, which continued throughout the day with enthusiasm, gave the children unforgettable moments.
WE HAD A WONDERFUL DAY
Stating that they were very happy to meet with children on campus, Lecturer Ezgi Oral Bozkurtoğlu, Director of IUE Children’s University Research and Application Center, said, “We held the Children's Festival, which we have made traditional as a University, for the 6th time this year. In our festival, we hosted Beyaz Köşk kindergarten students as well as children studying in various regions of Izmir. The children played very nice games together. Young people studying in the Child Development Program also participated in the festival and supported us. Thanks to children, we had a wonderful day as well. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the organization of the festival.”
