The Future of Sports Discussed in Izmir
The opening of the Sports Management Certificate Program, launched by Izmir University of Economics (IEU) with the support of Göztepe Sports Club, was held with great enthusiasm. The program aims to contribute to the development of Turkish sports and the training of professional managers. As part of the opening events, 4 separate panels were organized featuring expert speakers who discussed the transformation and future of the sports world.
The panels continued throughout the day at the IEU Conference Hall. Many prominent figures from the sports community shared their knowledge and experiences, including former Minister of Youth and Sports and AK Party Izmir MP Dr. Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, Izmir Chamber of Commerce Chairman and IUE Board of Trustees President Mahmut Özgener, and Göztepe Honorary President Mehmet Sepil.
EDUCATION IN 9 SEPARATE MODULES
In the Sports Management Program, which will continue until May, participants will receive training from 30 expert figures across 9 distinct modules. The program is designed to enhance the professional competencies of participants by focusing on diverse areas such as club management, marketing communication, and fan engagement. The program will serve as an exemplary educational model for the entire country.
