Late adulthood is not merely about aging; it is a continuation of the lifelong developmental journey. This stage holds both the richness of wisdom and the tenderness of vulnerability.
In this seminar, guided by Clinical Psychologist Çise Aker, we will explore the psychological and societal dimensions of late adulthood, including inner conflicts, facing the past, loneliness, dependency, and acceptance processes. We will also address legal and social issues such as financial abuse and neglect, which individuals may encounter in this period.
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of both their own or their loved ones’ experiences of aging, and reflect on how this life stage can be lived more meaningfully and healthily. The seminar aims to create space for both personal and collective conversations around aging.
