TRAINING; CONFIDENT STEPS TOWARDS FUTURE

Thanks to the protocol between Izmir University of Economics (IUE), Vocational School of Health Services, Child Development Program and Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, IZELMAN A.Ş. Preschools, the children are going to grow up healthier. 40 trainers working at IZELMAN Preschools has received in service training at IUE. The training included seminar subjects such as different approaches to child development, education, effective communication with parents, sexual education of preschool children, and classroom management in preschool. 

Prof. Dr. İlgi Şemin, Director of IUE Vocational School of Health Services, stated that students of Child Development Program received their hands-on-training at IZELMAN Preschools throughout the year and she said, “The protocol allows our students to practice the theoretical information they learn at school at IZELMAN Preschools. This gives our students a chance to get to know their profession up close in addition to gaining experience so that they can enter business life fully equipped with knowledge. The students learn about the structure of a preschool institution, its program, communication between staff and parents, and many more topics at first hand.”

Prof. Dr. Şemin reported that IZELMAN Preschools trainers received training from Ezgi Oral, Betül Özkul Cura, Songül Özgün, and Hakan Yıldız, lecturers of IUE Vocational School of Health Services, Child Development Program.
