ŞIKIDIM DESIGN SALES ON FACEBOOK
The designs of Şenyüz already attracted the attention of many brands.
Şenyüz formed a group on facebook 2 months ago and displayed her designs on herself. She has a serious customer portfolio. The young designer sells her designs not only on internet but also in mini fashion shows that take place at homes. Şenyüz stated that she earned nearly two thousand liras from the sales she made on facebook group and mini fashion shows.
Deniz Şenyüz whose designs drew great attention said, “I was giving some accessories I made to my friends as gifts. People wanted me to make things for them too. I began to sell things one by one. I formed a group on facebook named “Şıkıdım Design”. I wear my designs and we are making professional photograph shots. I upload these photos to facebook. There is a big interest on facebook. I receive many offers. But I make just 2 or 3 designs no matter how much offer I take.”
Deniz Şenyüz also stated that her designs were demanded by famous stores in İstanbul and Ankara but she did not think of selling things to these stores, she said, “These brands want to sell my designs by adding high prices. I want to show that people can make designs for reasonable prices.”
Head of Department of Fashion Design Asst. Prof. Şölen Kipöz gives the biggest support to Deniz Şenyüz, who has designs like a hairclip, bag, cloth, shoes, etc.
