Subtitling Workshop with High School Students
Damla Kaleş, lecturer of the Applied English Translation Program, organized a 2.5-hour subtitled translation workshop with students and English teachers from the 12th class of Balçova Anadolu High School at the Interpreting and Written Translation Laboratory. In this workshop, high school students became acquainted with the translation of subtitles and captured the opportunity to do animated translations through related programs Students were very pleased to leave the workshop, which was quite effective and fun.
