
IUE graduates will prepare the flavors unique to Turkish cuisine

Bilsev Group, who is preparing to expand to Dubai this year with its Ferdi Baba, Fabrice Restaurant and Baba Pizza brands, will give priority to graduates of Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, Izmir University of Economics (IUE) in the recruitment process. IUE graduates, who know the world and Turkish cuisine very well, follow the latest trends, and speak two foreign languages, will have the opportunity to gain experience and improve themselves in the international arena by going to Dubai. Young people from IUE, who will take part in the kitchen, will also contribute to the promotion of many flavors unique to our country abroad.
Izmir University of Economics signed a protocol with Bilsev Group last November in order to improve internship and work opportunities for its students. In this context, IUE Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts students started to perform internships at the Bilsev Group brands Ferdi Baba, Baba Pizza, Fabrice and Padre. The young people who had the opportunity to get to know the business life before graduating also gained experience in determining the right career goal for themselves. IUE and Bilsev Group further developed this exemplary cooperation they started and signed a new process that offers young people the opportunity to work in Dubai.
THEY SUBMITTED THEIR CV's
Stating that they always work to provide the best opportunities to their graduates, Asst. Prof. Dr. Betül Öztürk of Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts said, “As a department, we always trust our graduates and want them to be in the best places. In line with this goal, we join forces with many distinguished institutions and brands. Bilsev The collaboration with Bilsev Group is a good and concrete example of this. Our graduates will have the opportunity to expand to Dubai and show their talents there. We see this as a very valuable and important step. Our graduates submitted their CVs to take part in the new team that Bilsev Group will form in Dubai. Currently, the process is ongoing, it is too early to say anything definite about the number of graduates to be recruited. However, I can say that Izmir University of Economics graduates will also take part in the kitchen where special tastes will be prepared that will reach thousands of people in Dubai."

Bilsev continued as follows: “The biggest difference will be that we step into the international arena with our own products. We will represent Turkish cuisine in the best way with our own olive oil, olives and cheese. The team we will establish at this point will certainly consist of young, well-educated young people with a broad vision who know the world. We will raise the bar day by day with young talents. We believe that this cooperation will be a fruitful journey for both students and our company. Thanks to this cooperation, we will contribute to the gastronomy sector of our country by supporting the successful chefs and gastronomy experts of the future.”
