Festival bringing together the advertising and communication industries

Izmir University of Economics (IUE) will organize the ‘Genç Yaratıcı Festivali’ (Young Creative Festival) for the third time to bring together the leading names of the communication and advertising industry with the youth. The festival to be hosted by IUE on May 25-27, which will take place face-to-face for the first time this year, will be broadcast live on the "Young ‘Genç Yaratıcı’ YouTube page.

In the festival, which is one of the most comprehensive events in the field of advertising and communication, well-known names of the communication community will share their knowledge and experiences with young people. In addition, people who have achieved exemplary success in the creative industries will be the guests of the festival. Many well-known figures such as Sarp Akkaya, Kaan Çaydamlı, Erol Egemen, Ali Bilgin, Osman Sezener and Serkan Saysen will evaluate current issues such as 'creativity', 'media', 'gastronomy', 'economy' and 'communication'. The festival, which will start with a high school workshop on Wednesday (May 25) at 14.00, will continue with various activities until Friday at 17.00.

APPLICATIONS CONTINUE

Participants will be able to instantly ask their questions at the festival, and thus find answers to the topics they are curious about. An advertisement competition will also be held for the students of the faculties of fine arts and design and communication faculties across Turkey within the scope of the festival. The 10-person jury chaired by IUE Genç Yaratıcı Agency Founder Haluk Mesci will evaluate the work done. Apple Watch, Apple Airpods and Drawing Tablet will be awarded as gifts to the top 3 teams in the competition. While preparing the festival program, we also took into account the demands of our students. We made additions to the program in line with their requests."
