Young people should also create new areas of interest in the digital environment and focus on benefiting from change. The conference organized by IUE Vocational School was very useful and effective for our young people to develop themselves and meet with sector representatives. I believe that young people will make the most of these opportunities presented to them.”
ALL SECTORS MUST ADAPT TO THE NEW AGE
IZTO Board Member Adil Özyiğit said that the country has a serious production and manpower, however they need to be improved. Özyiğit said, “We, as a country, have to undertake high value-added works by creating and exporting technology. For this, we need well-trained and qualified workforce and entrepreneurs. At this point, universities have great responsibilities. Regardless of the sector, we cannot achieve sustainable success if we do not reinforce science with education. We have seen in the pandemic that there are situations where the human factor is disabled. We also saw the importance of making unmanned production when necessary. At this point, all sectors need to adapt to the new age and world order. As Izmir Chamber of Commerce, we are fully prepared. Our work groups continue their activities on a regular basis. With the support of Izmir University of Economics, we continue training courses without interruption.”
