Artificial Intelligence and Aviation Discussed at the 5th Tourism Days
Organized by the Travel and Language Programs Coordination of the Vocational School at İzmir University of Economics, the 5th Tourism Days took place on 13 May 2026 under the theme of "Artificial Intelligence." As part of the event, leading representatives from the industry shared their knowledge, experiences, and insights on the impact of artificial intelligence on the tourism and aviation sectors.
Within the Civil Aviation Cabin Services Program session, Vatan Jet General Manager Aykut Moroğlu and Quality and Safety Systems Manager İhsan Bayram participated as guest speakers. They shared valuable perspectives on the use of artificial intelligence in aviation, digital transformation in operational processes, safety management, and the future of aviation professions.
The event attracted significant interest from our students and concluded with an interactive Q&A session. Participants had the opportunity to engage directly with industry professionals, gain up-to-date knowledge, and broaden their perspectives on future career opportunities in the aviation sector.
