Explanation :
The Pre-Incubation Programme, launched under the Create in İzmir through a collaboration between İzmir University of Economics’ Creative Economy Research and Application Centre (KREA) and the Project Development and Technology Transfer Office (TTO), supports students and recent graduates in developing their ideas and taking their first steps towards entrepreneurship.
The programme is open to İzmir University of Economics students and graduates who completed their studies within the past three years. Anyone with an idea, looking to form a team, interested in testing an idea or eager to experience the entrepreneurial process is welcome to apply.
Start with the DesignX Idea Workshop!
The programme kicks off with a two-day DesignX Idea Workshop, taking place at İzmir University of Economics on 20–21 October 2026. Throughout the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to develop their ideas, connect with potential teammates from different disciplines and generate new ideas.
As part of the programme, teams will benefit from entrepreneurship training, business model development, one-to-one mentoring and connections with the entrepreneurship ecosystem. Following Demo Day, selected teams will also have access to guidance on the TÜBİTAK BİGG programme and support opportunities for branding and communication activities.
