Eligibility and application for IUE athlete discount
ANNOUNCEMENT
Students, who meet the following conditions in IUE UNDERGRADUATE AND ASSOCIATE PROGRAMS SCHOLARSHIP and DISCOUNT REGULATION, can apply for the "IUE Athlete Discount" by sending their documents to spor@ieu.edu.tr or hand-delivering their documents to the Sports Coordinatorship on 14-16 September 2021.
Eligibility and Application for IUE Athlete Discount
New students and students enrolled in 2021:
a) Application form containing personal and sports information,
b) Students, who have documented their success in the following areas within the last 1 year, if any, and who were actively involved in the national team at the time of application:
1)1st group field: Athletes who won medals in the Olympic, Paralympic and Deaflympic Games, Youth Olympics, World and European Championship Finals in the senior category of the Olympic and Paralympic sports branches, World and European Cup Finals in the senior category of the sports branches where the World and European Championships were not held,
2) 2nd group field: Athletes who won medals in the World and European Championship Finals in all youth categories in Olympic and Paralympic sports branches, World and European Cup Finals in all youth categories of sports branches where World and European Championships are not held, European Games, University Games, Mediterranean Games, Islamic Games, European Olympic Youth Summer and Winter Festivals Athletes, World Championships organized by FISU (International University Sports Federation), and athletes who participated in the Olympic, Paralympic and Deaflympics Games and Youth Olympics,
3) 3rd group field: Athletes who won medals in international competitions and tournaments, to which athletes from at least 16 countries in individual sports, teams of at least 9 countries in team sports attended, organized in Olympic and Paralympic sports branches and included in the competition calendar of international federations, and athletes who participated in the World and European Championship Finals in all youth categories in Olympic and Paralympic sports branches and athletes who participated in World and European Cup Finals in all youth categories of sports branches where World and European Championships are not held,
ç) Document showing the degrees of the last 2 years in individual sports,
d) List of matches and statistics for the last 2 years of team athletes, if any, of their team,
e) Reference Letter,
f) Attachments containing other sports documents and information, if any,
Continuing students:
a) Not having received any disciplinary punishments throughout education,
b) Not getting involved in any actions that might jeopardize the prestige of the university in the public eye,
c) Having a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00,
ç) Not having any unsuccessful or nonattendance course,
d) Being on the university sports team or representing the University individually in the previous academic year.
Continuing students can apply by submitting the following documents on the dates announced by the University:
a) Application form containing personal and sports information,
b) Students, who have documented their success in the following areas within the last 1 year, if any, and who were actively involved in the national team at the time of application:
