Changes in the ''Pass/Geçti and Fail/Kaldı'' system
Dear Students,
The University Senate has taken the below decisions on 16 December 2020 regarding the “Pass/Geçti and Fail/Kaldı” system.
- In 2020-2021 academic year fall semester;
- Students of associate and undergraduate programs can use "Pass / Geçti" and "Fail / Kaldı" right for a maximum of 18 ECTS-course along with double major, minor, and certificate program courses.
- Students, who enrolled in graduate programs for the first time in 2020-2021 academic year, can use "Pass/Geçti and Fail/Kaldı" right for a maximum of 15 ECTS-course.
- Students, who enrolled in graduate programs before 2020-2021 academic year, can use "Pass/Geçti and Fail/Kaldı" right for a maximum of 7.5 ECTS-course.
- Applications will not be accepted except for the "Pass/Geçti and Fail/Kaldı" application dates announced in the academic calendar.
- Students can make their "Pass/Geçti and Fail/Kaldı" application through OASIS Information System only. Applications with a petition/form will not be accepted.
- Students are allowed to make changes to their "Pass/Geçti and Fail/Kaldı" application twice at most through OASIS Information System within the designated application dates.
- The status of students, who cannot apply on the dates announced in the academic calendar due to late arrival of the transcript for the semesters they studied abroad within the scope of the ERASMUS program, will be decided by the University Administrative Board.
- "Pass/Geçti and Fail/Kaldı" right will be used in 2020-2021 academic year fall semester for the last time, and it will be annulled as of 2020-2021 academic year spring semester.
