ITALIAN MENU AT İZMİR UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS
The participants of the training programs that are made with professional equipments in classrooms for 20 people both learn how to cook and have fun.
Italian Cuisine course started at İzmir University of Economics Chef Certificate Program after Chocolate and Bakery course and Tatarian Cuisine course. 40 students started the training that will last 4 weeks with the trainer and gourmet Levent Alpat and they will learn how to cook Italian food. The trainees that work with professional equipment learned how to make pasta dough in the first week. They cooked the pasta they made and served it with Ragu sauce, also known as Bolognese sauce.
After the Italian food, the trainees said that they wanted to attend Regional Food and Aegean Cuisine Certificate Programs.
Italian Food Trainer Levent Alpat stated that there was a broad participation in the course saying, “There are many tastes in Italian Cuisine that is similar to our cuisine, and you can cook them easily at home. Here, we will focus on food that is more professional.” Alpat said that he was representing our country in international organizations abroad, “Most of the trainees are professional chefs. I believe we will have many chefs that represent our country in world famous cuisines.”
