FACULTY OF COMMUNICATION ADVISORY BOARD HAD A MEETING

Before the meeting, Izmir University of Economics Advisory Board Members visited radio and television studios equipped with latest technology on the lower floors of the New Dormitory Building. The members took information from Radio-TV Head Hakan Gök and they stated that they think the works done were very successful. Later they visited the exhibition opened on Turkish Press Archive corridor, by benefiting from the archive of Prof. Dr. Uygur Kocabaşoğlu, under the curatorship of Public Relations and Advertisement Lecturer Sema Misçi titled “Advertisements from Past” that contains 150 different advertisements such as automotive, personal care, health, banking.

In the meeting, the latest developments about IUE Radio, Faculty of Communication Seminar series, Faculty of Communication Monthly News Bulletin “Univers” and the projects of the students are discussed. After the offers about the bulletin’s layout, it is decided that the students should take place in broadcasting council. The content of the Radio’s broadcasting is discussed. Subjects like, news in English-Turkish, music broadcasting, radio theatre were on the agenda of the meeting.
